Objectives of the 5th Malaysia Inter-Varsity Song Composing Contest:
1) To excavate and explore new talents in music and song composing.
2) To enhance the atmosphere and uplift the standard of Chinese song composing among local university students.
3) To provide a platform for music enthusiasts to get-together.
4) To raise the standard of Chinese song composing to international level.
第五届全创主题：
~ 创乐风~
简介: 本届的全创以“创乐风”为主题，主要是为了带出创作，音乐， 和自我风格
的概念希望参赛者们能随心所欲，发挥自我创意。
“创”表达着音乐创作人心底最深沉的话语；
“乐”表达着创作人所创作出段段扣人心弦的旋律；
“风”代表着每位创作人像风一样自由，不受拘束的创作。
对一位参赛者而言，每一份创作都带有自己最独特的风格。虽然音乐只有那么几个
音符，却在每一位创作人的独特创作下，带出不一样的感觉，歌词里的每个句子，
每个词，每一个字，歌曲里的每个音调，都是创作人最原始的味道。我们希望利用
创乐风这个主题，推广大专生的创作风气，让音乐成为生命的原动力，并透过天马
行空的想象力，创出自我风格，挥洒出一段段动人心弦的旋律，向音乐梦想起飞。

The 5th Malaysia Inter-Varsity Song Composing Contest aims
to bring out the best of song composing in undergraduates.
Freedom refers to the openness and flexibility of participants to
compose their songs; Essence describes the outstanding quality of
undergraduates’ song composing; In addition, a sense of
Genuineness is present as each participant emphasises originality
in their song composing.
